Claypot chicken rice is one of the first few ‘all-in-one’ dishes I learned to made when I first started cooking years ago. It is actually pretty easy to make and though the name is ‘claypot chicken rice’, you don’t necessarily need to use claypot to cook it. You can also use the microwave or the rice cooker.

I’ve been to the Look Yuen Restaurant in Bukit Mertajam quite a few times already and each time, I never tire of their trademark dishes.
Look Yuen Restaurant
They have a variety of dishes to choose from but we always like to order their braised pork leg, fish curry and honey chicken, amongst other more normal dishes.
Fish curry
Their fish curry is slightly different from other places because it is a combination of coconut milk curry with lime. It may sound weird but the taste is really amazing because the sourish tinge actually helps to . . . → Read More: The famous Chinese restaurant in Bukit Mertajam
I was introduced to the wonderful world of fresh herbs by The Naked Chef, Jamie Oliver. Amongst the many herbs I found in Tesco or Jaya Jusco is Rosemary.

Satay
There are quite a few satay stalls in the pasar malam but we think this one is the best at 30 per stick and it tastes good.
I have tried a lot of Chee Cheong Fan (steamed rice flour rolls covered in prawn paste and chilli sauce) everywhere and I can safely say that the best ever chee cheong fan is definitely the one at Genting Coffee shop in Greenlane.
Chee Cheong Fan
The best part of any Chee Cheong Fan is the sauce. If the sauce is darn good, then the dish can be said as very delicious. This is because the rice flour rolls are practically tasteless. I can never understand people who could eat these plain, without sauce except for some sesame . . . → Read More: The best Chee Cheong Fan

In actual fact, the fresh, un-treated, unsweetened cherries aren’t all that sweet. It tasted like any berry and yes, it has a sourish tinge to it. Cherries are good for health.
Other than that, here are some health facts on cherries:
