The things you do with chocolate

During times of extreme stress, I will usually have this insatiable craving for chocolates. Not just any chocolate but satisfyingly rich, dark chocolate! It is really great that there are so many ways for me to enjoy my chocolates…

Dark chocolate truffles

Truffles are really the best chocolate ever for some satisfying indulgence! I especially like it when I bite into it and the soft centre will just ooze out and fill my mouth with a burst of chocolatey richness. Mmm-mmm…that’s what I call heavenly!

My favourite kind of bear

This is probably the only bear I have ever eaten!

Nothing beats chocolate sauce and chocolate wafer rolls with different flavoured ice cream including chocolate!

Mmmm…ice cream and chocolate, the most sinful of any sinful desserts EVER!

Chocolate truffles with strawberry fillings

The best of both worlds, just combine chocolate and strawberry and you get chocolate truffles with strawberry centres. Just pop these into your mouth and let it melt…the combination of the sweet rich chocolate and the slightly sourish tinge of strawberry is simply amazing!

Brownies

Between chocolate cakes and brownies, I would say I simply LOVE brownies. Although I wouldn’t mind moist, rich chocolate cakes! Brownies are the best because it is rich, thick and oh-so-creamy that it gives you this satisfying, warm fuzzy feeling after eating it….(at least for me!)

Chocolate shavings

These are quite easy to made. Get a chocolate bar and start scraping off tiny pieces using a knife. Or roughly chop up the chocolate bar. Usually these are used to decorate cakes and sometimes, to be places in a double boiler over boiling water to be melted for use in some recipes.
