Chicken recipes: Spicy chicken burger

Chicken Recipes Series

The Food Critic simply loves burgers so other than the herbed burger, I decided to try making a different type of burger. This time around, I used only minced chicken and instead of herbs, I tried it with some black pepper and chili, thus it’s called spicy chicken burger. This is also another one of my chicken breast recipes.

This is my second attempt at making my own burgers and I find that it is pretty simple and I could add whatever seasoning I like to make it taste great! So, no more store-bought burgers for us. From now onwards, it is all homemade burgers in Foong’s house.

Now, these are essentially chicken patties so you can eat it as a burger like this…

Otherwise, you can serve it up with some fresh greens, fries and top it with some simple garlicky brown sauce, like this:

The chicken burger has a slight spiciness to it but if you prefer it to be more spicy, then add a few more spoons of chili flakes to it. Since both The Food Critic and Mr Picky can’t really eat very spicy food, I had to only add a bit of chili flakes just for the flavour.

Enjoy!

the meat patties look yummylicious! perhaps with a squeeze of Sri Racha sauce to make it the bomb! Oh yea, is it advisable to coat it with bread crumbs?

Hi everyone! OMG, I just realised I forgot to reply to the comments made here…So sorry. I’ve been pretty busy so I tend to overlook things A LOT nowadays…thanks for commenting here.

Alexis: You can coat it with bread crumbs and it will be crunchier.
