It’s the eighth lunar month which means the Mid-Autumn Festival is here! To those who doesn’t know what it means…well, it’s also known as the Lantern Festival and the one thing most people (or me to be exact, heheheh..) likes it is because of the delicious mooncakes! This festival falls on the 15th of the eighth lunar month and children also love this festival because of the lanterns!

Easy flourless lemon cheesecake recipe

Cheesecakes are probably the only type of cake that I could eat a lot of. Other than chocolate cakes and brownies, that is. That’s why, I decided to try baking it myself rather than keep buying from bakeries. Of course, when it comes to recipes, I always choose the easy ones. With two little ones underhand (or underfoot) most of the time, I had no choice but to do things fast and this includes baking.

Not a chocolate dessert but still a sweet one involving apples

I know I have been going overload on chocolate dessert recipes in the past few post so here is something that does not involve chocolate. Instead, it has apples and though not much healthier or any less sinful, but I guess not as sinful as the chocolate desserts.

I had posted an apple and blueberry crumble recipe before this and also an apple crisp recipe, this recipe is almost similar but it is much simpler with less ingredients.
