Simple Rich Butter Cake

I know I should have posted this recipe up a long time ago…in fact more than a month ago! But somehow, I got caught up with one thing or another and this blog got neglected yet again. Sigh. Time do flies and it sure is hard finding time to blog even though I have accumulated several recipes to share (including the photos too!).

I do have quite a few more simple dessert recipes to share but before I post them, I thought I’d give you a look at them first and also a special ice cream sundae you can do at home with any store bought ice cream.

All you need are some plain vanilla, chocolate and strawberry ice cream. First, before I start, let me write something about The Food Critic aka My Personal Chef and his hate-hate relationship with desserts.

He hates most desserts. Cakes, pies, cookies and yes *gasp* even chocolates. Which explains his difficulty in putting on weight.

Very easy strawberry desserts and the benefits of strawberries

We went to Strawberryland (Cameron Highlands) recently so of course we ended up buying a lot of strawberries and ended up with too much strawberries which started to spoil even as we drive back to Penang. So, what can we do with strawberries other than eat it raw as a fruit?

Well, this is what I do with some of the strawberries:
