I love salmon and I normally eat it raw or grilled in teriyaki sauce. Sometimes, I’d bake it this way. I even cooked it in a curry once! It’s been awhile since we had salmon so I went and bought some recently. Salmon is full of nutrients and is one of the heart healthy food we should add to our diets so spending extra on it is worth it (it is imported, thus quite expensive compared to local fishes).

Healthy Baked Salmon

Since I have a whole salmon to cook and eat, it won’t do that we only eat it raw or grill it. It will get kind of boring.

So, I try to prepare it a bit differently. One of it is to bake it with herbs, a la Jamie Oliver style. Yep, I am a fan of Jamie Oliver and I simply love the way he uses fresh herbs for most of his cooking. These are the herbs I bought to use:

Oregano, rosemary and sage
