Fried vegetarian soya noodles

Every once in a while, we’ll get really tired of eating rice, rice and more rice each day so sometimes, I’d like to cook noodles for a change. Even my son loves noodles. I usually like to buy organic noodles, especially when there are so many different types of healthy, wholesome noodles to choose from.

Recently, I bought a packet of soya noodles. So, I decided to give it a try in a basic and easy stir-fried noodles style.

The only roadside stall we had to stalk before we get to eat there

Most hawker stalls open everyday. Some of them don’t even have a single day off until Chinese New Year. Of course, there are the few who takes two days off each week. This particular roadside hawker stall really takes the cake because it is close 4 days a week.

We discovered this stall years ago, through a friend. We went back a few times over the years but did not notice their strange ‘working’ hours until in recent months, I wanted to go there to see whether they are still selling there. Kim Gary Restaurant at Gurney Plaza

I have been to Kim Gary Restaurant at Gurney Plaza several times and since I loved most of the food there, I thought I might as well mention it here. So, we went there again for Mothers’ Day celebration and ordered quite a lot of different food from the extensive menu.

What I like about this restaurant is that they offer quite a lot of variety from different types of rice to noodles. Now, they even have snacks and starters.
